joyeux noel

"If we could read the secret history of your enemies, we should find in each man's life sorrow and suffering enough to disarm all hostility" -- Henry Wadsworth Longfellow

after hon's floodgates opened (and refused to close) i couldn't help but cry, but for totally different reasons as we found out later. so the two "typical rgs girls" cried our eyes out next to an amused itkz.

i cried not because war's a horrible thing (it was, it is. totally f-ed up, as hon continuously said) but more because i think the worst things sometimes bring out the best in us. humans are the most fascinating creatures. just when you least expect it, you find yourself pleasantly surprised by their good nature :) what i got from it was how very important it is to keep the faith, and seriously, stop fighting >.<

"merry christmas" (or joyeux noel) is the foreign film currently showing at orchard cine. WATCH IT!!
