nice guys don't finish last

happy children's day!! :)

coffee treat at spinelli's @ university hall with anat group and my favourite dhineshkumar was so fun! and i thought medicine would be such a hostile place. and that new, trustworthy friends would be in short supply. but somehow i've been very lucky, meeting people who've only been kind and generous to me, seniors, batchmates, tutors, canteen stall owners. for that i'm so so so very grateful (:

do you truly make an effort to be nice to everyone? and is that hypocritical, because you can't possibly like everyone you meet (haha at least not for me la) what's the right thing to do, and should you bother doing the right thing. my answer is, aiya, do whatever you want, but you know you only have yourself to answer to. don't try and live with all the crap you've tried to sneak past everyone.

the weekend's going to be very family oriented, touring the new national library with my mum, bumming with everyone else... how lovely :) if only i could bum with my friends in london, in london, NOW. i've already got all the warm clothes! and i can bring singaporean food haha! =p

i'm so in love with jars of clay! (haha whit, this is an annual thing it seems)

sunny days keepin' the clouds away
i think we're coming to a clearing and a brighter day

so far away. still i think they say
the wait will make the heart grow stronger, or fonder...
i can't quite remember anyway

so if you're waitin' for love
well it's a promise i'll keep
if you don't mind believing that it changes everything
then time will never matter

winter, spring... is what love can truly bring
ice turns to water, water flows to everything
you can lose your mind, maybe then your heart you'll find
i hope you won't give up what's moving you inside

if the car won't start, when you turn the key
when the music comes on, all your cold, cold heart can do is skip a beat

it's a promise i'll keep
when you're waitin' for love
if you don't mind believing that it changes everything
then time will never matter
