sometimes time passes too quickly, when you're trying to finish studying, when you're having fun, when you're young, when you were supposed to remember a good friend's birthday, when you're commiting some really big mistake. life's funny that way, isn't it.

there's no second chance, let alone a sliver of a fighting chance to slow things down slightly and change your mind during.

and after it passes, you can't reverse it, or pause like you do on vcds (especially japanese serials which have chinese subtitles that are so difficult to read haha) i used to hate the way we can't pause for too long to cherish certain moments, like those with friends you'll never see again. damn you irreversible time machine! you can only be a virgin once; your very first time riding a bicycle is the only first time riding a bicycle you'll get to have, then you can't say you've never cycled before. and no one forgives you for falling down. regardless, it just hurtles right on, bulldozing you over till you have no choice but to suck it up and follow suit.

we only have one life (live it - the m1 slogan makes sense okay)
that's the whole point right, to make full use of that one shot.
