was going to write something short and vague/strange but all my one-liners looked very lame. so i wrote a poem. okay actually these are just lyrics of a random itunes song that looks cheesy lyrics wise but is otherwise easy on the ears (nothing like you and i, the perishers.)
i don't know how i manage to ruin my day like that. (you could take this as a sample of a lame one-liner i was thinking of) and my day consisted of a visit to the outside of the istana and eating the most omg tau huay in singapore and with my favourite lbbc members too, hai.
we spent some time together walking
spent some time just talking about who we were
you held my hand so very tightly
and told me what we could be dreaming of

we spent some time together drinking
spent some time just thinking about days of joy
as our hearts started beating faster
i recalled your laughter from long ago
we spent some time together crying
spent some time just trying to let each other go

i told you what i would be dreaming of
there's nothing like you and i
so why do i even try
in my dream, i said, why not?
(and in my dream, i had bigger eyes and a better complexion.)
