i'm more often glad for my friends than for myself. because i believe so much in them, that they can do whatever they set their hearts on. on the 10th of december, an old friend has commissioned as an officer, and not being a proud parent or a beaming girl/boyfriend made absolutely no difference. because i still felt the pride well up inside me, and tears well up too haha, when her family surrounded her to affix her rank epaulettes, especially her grandmother *awww* =)
